How to install and maintain Bamboo Flooring
Installation on a underfloor heating system
Information on the floating installation
Prerequisites: The Bamboo Flooring must be allowed acclimatization of at least fortyeight hours in its packaging, laid flat in the warm room where the installation is planned (between 18 and 20° C). Make sure that the soil has also at least a temperature of 18° C.
The floating Bamboo Flooring should be laid on a flat, smooth, dry, clean and stable surface. A too high humidity content bear the risk of having a negative influence on the floor. For the bonding of tongue and groove a floating white glue or carpenter is used.
Information about glue down installation
Prerequisites: Allow the Bamboo Flooring to acclimatize at least fortyeight hours in its packaging, laid flat in the warm room where the installation is planned (between 18 and 20° C). Make sure that the soil has also at least a temperature of 18° C. The floor must be solid, absorbent, clean, flat, dry and smooth without wax, fat or remnants of glue.
More elastic 1-component polyurethane or silan '(or glues' hybrid') glues can be used as adhesives.
Information about nail down installation
The Bamboo Flooring (2a, 2b. 3a. and 3b.) can be nailed down by gun on a wooden subframe: Shoot the nail into the groove with an angle to the surface of 45 to 50°.
Surface treatment on edge
Once the floor is installed it is to be lightly sanded and then, according to individual preferences, it is either oiled or varnished. Utilize a floor sanding machine tape or disc sanding machine and a corner sanding machine. Grid: 36, (40), 80, 100, (120)

Immediately after installation an initial treatment should be carried out after (DIN18356) no matter if it is varnished or oiled. For the floor delivered varnished we recommend to apply BONA Polish as the first treatment as well as for maintenance cleaning, and for the floor delivered oiled we recommend Woca` s oil. to clean. You can buy all maintenance products from BONA at www.bona.com and from Woca at www.ttwoodcare.dk
